This  Buddhist center in Athens-Greece was established in the year 2005 after the visit and blessing of H.H. The 17th Karmapa.

It was dedicated to the activity of H.H.The Shamarpa in the summer 2006 after receiving his consent and blessing for it.

The Bodhi Path Center in Athens is situated in a central region of the city, easy for people to reach it by subway, tram or busses. The 150 sqm large apartment

is spacious, bright with a big and comfortable shrine room.

On one weekend every month the resident Lama gives courses on Buddhist philosophy and meditation practices while every Sunday and Wednesday group meditation sessions take place for whoever wishes to participate.

The center has also the honor to receive visits from different renowned Rinpoches and other western Lamas.

We'd also like to mention that the center has been recently officially recognized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs as a place of Buddhist worship of the Karma Kagyu tradition.
